Discover the history of chocolate with Maite at Hauser & Wirth in DTLA. Learn all about the journey of the prized cacao pod – from its origins as a drink for Mayan and Aztec nobility, to a drink for European aristocrats, to the present day candy bar, to its usage in contemporary art.

After the talk, participate in a tasting of Milla Chocolates and traditional Mexican cacao based drinks accompanied by Manuela’s Grist & Toll whole grain churritos. ($20)
