LACMA and Surfas
Celebrate Women’s History month through an informal conversation at LACMA about art made by or about important women in history. Then head to the Surfas Test Kitchen to prepare a meal inspired by significant cookbooks of the centuries including Mary Randolph’s The Virginia House-Wife, Fannie Farmer’s Boston Cooking-School Cook Book, Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and Claudia Roden’s A Book of Middle Eastern Food. ($115 includes museum admission, tour, all ingredients, cooking instruction, recipes and wine. Does not include museum parking.)
