The Romance of the Grand Tour (in-person)

Join Maite as she recreates the romance of and allure of 16th century English travel.

Learn the history of The Grand Tour, which came into fashion in 16th-century England when the concept of travel for the sake of curiosity began. Participants will view British and French paintings, Decorative Arts, and diaries, and then complete the tour by preparing spritzes and Venetian cicchetti worthy of a grand tourist. Participants must be 21 and older.

Cynar Spritzes
Crostini with gorgonzola and anchovy
Smoked tuna, horseradish and artichoke buns
Carrot mostarda with mustard and roast ham or prosciutto
