A Taste of Yucatan

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Maite!

The food of the Yucatan peninsula is distinct from other Mexican cuisine. Though its roots are Mayan, for centuries its remote location meant that Europe and the Caribbean, not Mexico, were its primary trading partners.

Learn about the rich history and traditions of Yucatan, the region in Mexico where my family is from, and prepare a heartwarming feast!

Menu:
La Ofrenda (Xtabentun Cocktail)
Salipcon de Rabano (Chopped Radish Salad)
Salbutes con Cochinita Pibil (Salbutes with Pork Pibil)
Cebolla Morada en Escabeche (Pickled Red Onion)
Salsa de Chile Habanero con Limon (Habanero Salsa with Lime Juice)

In your confirmation email you will receive a link with recipes and equipment needed for class. The Zoom link will be sent three hours before the class starts.
