The Art of the Still Life: Cooking with ArtBites and Bocado Studio

Join Maite Gomez-Rejon and food photographer Paola Baylon of Bocado Studio in their first collaboration.

In this informal bilingual (English/Spanish) session Maite will share the history of the still life in art and lead the group in a baking session Paola teaches the group how to set up the perfect shots.

Bring a smartphone and a desire to learn. A glass of Prosecco too!

Menu:
Oven-Roasted Meyer Lemon Cakes

Equipment needed for baking:
cutting board, knife, pastry brush, cupcake molds, standing or hand held mixer, spatula

Props needed for photo session:
smartphone, white poster board or flat white surface, extra lemons (preferably with green stem), brown parchment paper, plain clear or white bowls, plain white dessert plate

Recipe developer and photographer, Paola founded Bocado Studio as a creative outlet during the pandemic to bridge her two passions - food and photography. She builds community by sharing updated takes on classic baked goods and cannot wait to teach you how to set up the perfect shot.
