Maize and Chocolate: The Heartbeat of Mexico

Join Maite and baker Eliceo Lara of Mexican Baking to celebrate the history of Mexico’s two most important ingredients: maize and chocolate. Prepare an earthy contemporary meal using both ingredients front and center as Maite and Eliceo weave stories from maize and chocolate’s mesoamerican origins, to their trajectory around the world and back to the Mexican table.

Menu:
Tlacoyos con Pollo en Mole (Black Bean Stuffed Masa with Chicken Mole)
Sol y Sombra Chocolate and Maize Mousse
