It’s Black History Month! Mardi Gras is coming up!

Let’s celebrate the fascinating story of chef, cookbook author and entrepreneur Lena Richard, the woman who built a culinary empire during the Jim Crow era and helped put the Creole cooking traditions of New Orleans cuisine on the map.

The menu and conversation are inspired by New Orleans Cook Book of 1939.
